When Creation Speaks: An Introduction to Creation’s Parables
For years now, I’ve listened to stories carried on the wind, woven into branches, whispered in the wings of migrating birds and the hush of snowfall. As a former biology teacher, I once studied the mechanics of these things. Now, I find myself studying their meaning.
I believe God still speaks—often through the quiet movement of His creation.
In this new series, Creation’s Parables, I’ll share reflections drawn from the natural world. Each one is a kind of sacred echo: a parable not made of ink and paper, but of fur and feather, tide and tree, instinct and season. Like Jesus’ parables of mustard seeds and lilies, these stories will not preach—they’ll invite. They’ll offer small truths hidden in ordinary things.
Some may be born from memory. Some from observation. Others from wonder.
But all will point—however quietly—toward a deeper Light.
Welcome to this new path on Porch of His Presence.
Let us walk slowly, and listen to the earth that He has made.
